AMERICAN LACROSSE LEAGUE
League Championship Game - Saturday June 18 at 4:30 PM
Yorktown High School, Yorktown Hts., New York

Our game will be the feature game of an all day lacrosse tournament. There will be youth games starting at 8 AM and continuing through the early afternoon. Prior to our game, there will a womens alumni game for Yorktown HS graduates. A Yorktown HS mens alumni game will follow our game.

A post-game party for will be hosted by the League at a sports bar that is a short drivefrom the game site.

The days activities are sponsored by Matthew's Mission which is short for The Matthew Kull Foundation For Healing Lymphoma. Matt was an All-American HS player from Yorktown who contracted Hodgkins Lymphoma during his freshman year at North Carolina. The disease proved fatal for Matt. His family started the foundation in his memory.

Yorktown Hts. is at the north end of Westchester County. It is just east of Peekskill. The town is a 45 minute drive from the Throggs Neck Bridge and the George Washington Bridge. The High School is located on Crompond Road (aka Routes 202 & 35) and is one mile east of the Taconic Parkway. The address is 2727 Crompond Road, Yorktown Hghts., NY. Get a map of the location by going to mapquest.com.

Since this is a public school, NO ALCOHOL CAN BE CONSUMED ON THE GROUNDS. New York State law also prohibits use of tobacco on school grounds.

There will be reserved parking area near the field for our teams, League representatives, and officials. A grassy area between the parking area and the field can be used for preliminary warmups. The field has artificial turf and 30 minutes will be allotted for warmup on the turf prior to our game.

A certified traner will be available for taping starting at 3:30 PM and he will be in attendance during the game.

Directions to Yorktown HS and information about motels will be sent to all teams during the season. There is only one decent motel in the immediate area of Yorktown. It is slightly expensive and does not have too many rooms. This is the Peekskill Motor Inn.
